Chevrolet CMP 15cwt truck

Chevrolet CMP 15cwt truck

CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) trucks were a broad range of military vehicles produced in Canada for the armies of the British Commonwealth during the Second World War. The Soviet Union also received many of the CMP trucks as part of the Canadian counterpart to the US lend lease program – The Billion Dollar Gift & Mutual Aid.

This C15 15-cwt truck has the No. 13 cab design with its distinctive forward-angled windscreen which was designed to avoid sun glare attracting attention of the enemy. As with all CMP vehicles they are right hand drive as all were built to British specifications.

Seeing service throughout the war (and beyond), the CMP saw action with many Allied nations and were regularly found fielded by the German and Italian forces when captured in the Western Desert campaign.

Contains one resin & metal vehicle, with stat card and damage markers.
