Citroën Kegresse P17 artillery tractor
Fielded by both the French and Polish armies during WWII, the C4-P17 Citroën-Kegresse half-track was used primarily as an artillery tractor for 75mm field guns. Originally designed in the 1920s to enable travel across wild spaces such as deserts, it was initially a civilian concept but it was soon adopted by the military to transport troops such as the chasseur portés or supplies to the front. Captured examples were widely used by the German armed forces.
