Monmouth caps

These handy caps were made in their thousands for both civilian and military use, Bewdly and Kidderminster being centres of manufacture. Cheap and practical, they could be placed under a helmet to make a more comfortable fit.

Any regiment may sport these caps and colours could vary locally or at the whim of the regiments colonel.
