Jumping into combat is thirsty work, and Aprilās Soldier of Fortune figure has stopped by for a well-earned drink!
Depicting an elite American paratrooper in Normandy immediately following D-Day, āThirsty Workā is a study of a rare moment of peace and quiet in the chaos of war. This Airborne soldier has clearly āliberatedā a bottle of wine (and presumably the village in which he found it) from German occupation, and is taking a much-deserved swig before he heads out on his next mission.
Cast in finely detailed Warlord Resin, this figure is perfect for representing any from a wide range of units in a US Airborne force themed around D-Day, and as a great addition to the Soldier of Fortune collection. Weāve also included (for those who prefer their miniatures to be a little more belligerent) an extra arm, allowing you to swap his bottle of wine for a pistol - ideal for dealing with anyone whoād dare interrupt his drinks break!
This Soldier of Fortune is a man on a mission, and thereās not a lot of wine left in that bottle! Heāll only be available until 30th April 2025, at which point heāll be off to rejoin his unit, not to be seen again until the end of the war!
Sculpted by Wojciech Flis. Studio miniature painted by Jamie Getliffe.
