Based on the battle proven Panzer III hull, replacing the turret with an armoured superstructure containing a more powerful gun; the 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48. It had a crew of four - commander, driver, gunner & loader.

The StuG III was second only to the Sd.Kfz 251 Hanomag as Germany's most produced fighting vehicle of WWII. Over 10,000 were built during the war with 300 Ausf B versions built between June 1940 & May 1941. The Ausf B was the first mass produced version of the StuG III and saw extensive action in the Balkans and in Operation Barbarossa.

Contains one resin and metal vehicle with stat card and damage markers.
