Re-equipped with the new M43 uniform following the D-Day landings the US Airborne were ready to tack some of their greatest challenges of the war - Operation Market Garden and the Ardennes Offensive.

Airborne units relied heavily on the support weaponry they could take with them into battle. The 81mm M1 and 60mm M2 mortars provided valuable indirect firepower whilst the M1 Bazooka gave the paratroopers a fighting chance against enemy armour.
